Simon was born and raised in NYC. Prior to UChicago, he completed a BS in Chemistry at Rice University (2025), where he worked with Dr. László Kürti to develop new methods for nitrogen insertion into organic molecules. Outside of the lab, Simon enjoys running, reading, and playing board games.
